The Experience

More than a hike, a real Mexican village

This is more than just a walk in the woods: hiking in Puerto Vallarta with La Dulce Vista is a true Mexican countryside adventure, starting in the authentic village of La Desembocada.

You will walk through local streets, passing a traditional tortillería, the village church and lush farmlands, before beginning a scenic single-track mountain hike toward El Ranchito.

After the hike, you arrive at La Dulce Vista, nestled in the Mascota River canyon at the foothills of the Sierra Madre. Enjoy a traditional Mexican barbecue and an artisanal tequila tasting.

Then take free time to relax by the pool, lounge in a hammock, soak in our natural volcanic hot springs and enjoy the atmosphere before a comfortable return to Marina Vallarta. Village life, mountain views and Mexican flavors make this the most complete day of hiking in Puerto Vallarta.
